Guest guest
are there "cowboy" places in denver? i remember a few good irish pubs, typical sports bars and wynkoops for beer 'n' pool.. seemed like the art scene (i paint and was always checking out small galleries downtown) was disappearing and goth was getting popular -- but that was maybe 7 years ago... always loved seeing the rockies -- especially snow-covered!fraggle <EBbrewpunx wrote: we tried to stay away from cowboy places... i was talkin the restaurants and the record stores there use to be a large punk scene in denver..but we didn't see any sign of it... we were gonna see dr know on wed sept 28th, and mdc on sat oct 1st..but we didn't get int odenver until 3 hours later then we were suppose to, and wanted a few beers first..and i had just seen dr know a few days earlier over here in the east bay..sooo and, i'll be working 3 MDC shows in the next few days, and decided didn't feel like walkin 20 blocks to try and find the club where they were playing not a big anti-flag fan...have a bit of their early stuff..but...i dunno..they grate on me a tad... cheers fraggle peter hurd Oct 5, 2005 10:35 AM Re: Denver..veggie Punk not hit Denver then?
