Guest guest
I had my Fire Warden training day on Monday. The email invitation asked if there were any special dietary requirements for lunch. I emailed back that I would like a vegan lunch, and they replied saying it was booked for me. Come lunchtime - no vegan lunch! I suspected that it might happen, and I had bought a sandwich from home - but it does make me cross that they can never provide anything vegan. Guest guest
HoJo, Reply to the boss that your concentration was impaired due to the lack of a meal, and that you can no longer guarantee that you took in the training to a level required by the firm. Suggest that you feel undervalued and segregated, ask if this oversight was because you are a woman? Go on stir it up ( as Bob Marley once said!) The Valley Vegan................. Guest guest
Hi Peter I didn't think of most of those - although the last one doesn't apply where I work, thank goodness. I did get an apology from the organisers today, who showed me their form to the catering people which had 'vegan meal for Jo Kebbell' which was highlighted in yellow. I guess I am going to have to see the catering people about it. Guest guest
CD's? I don't hear very well, so my DH won't let me listen to music at the store (I'ld sit at my 'puter and do nothing else since I never heard there was an order for me to pull) and my family won't let me at home since then I wouldn't have a clue anything is being said so I should look at their lips. I usually only get to listen when I'm alone, which is rare. I did listen to Sara Smile on the way to pick up lunch and back today, isn't that Oak Ridge Boys? ... I like to listen to rap music, since it has a strong base I can hear the beat and sometimes the words. The stuff I used to listen to in the 70's I can't stand now since it all runs together (with my hearing) and sounds like a band warming up to me. There's a new rap song I really like that's called Hump, I think.pretty funny stuff. I asked my daughter if they really said "lovely lady lumps" and she said yup, that's what they said.peter hurd <swpgh01 wrote: Come on then everyone, whats the last 3 cd`s you listened to?
