Guest guest
Hi All I seem to be getting my emails all over the place, all out of order, some repeated, and apparently some not at all. Bear with me if I ask silly questions. BB Jo
Guest guest
Hi Jo Tis ok, we're use to your silly questions... *ducking flying fire extinguishers* I usually read straight from the group. Makes it easier for me. Otherwise I would never get through all the emails. Guest guest
Hi Nikki I took too long deciding whether to throw a CO2 or water fire extinguisher - and the moment has gone :-) I am online at the moment - but I don't have broadband and it means I can't get any phone calls at the same time. I get frustrated when I'm at work and have to read over the web. Also, when I use email, it filters all this group's posts into one folder, and I like that. serene
Guest guest
I like it because once they are delivered to my inbox I can come off the internet and receive any phone calls. I can then answer the emails at my leisure. Jo , " serene (Sandra Vannoy) " <serene@s...> wrote: > > On Thu, October 6, 2005 11:40 am, earthstrm said: > > > I usually read straight from the group. Guest guest
No. Thinking about it but haven't got it yet. I don't know if I'd need it really - we don't download any music or films etc. We'll see. It would have to be a phoneline one because there's no cable etc. round here - never will be. Guest guest
Hi Jo Ah, I understand now. I am on dial-up too. But usually when on the groups and emails, I am working as well connected to my work intranet. So most people just call me on the cell phone. I would love to get broadband soon, it's just so expensive. Guest guest
HI Nikki We don't get a signal for the cell phones here ! Which is good in one way and not so good in other ways. When Laura and Peter come to stay with us they have to go for a walk so they can pick up their messages. Guest guest
Thanks Peter - I'll try it. My daughter reckoned our lines wouldn't be suitable - I hope she's wrong.
