Second, what an awful weight to put on poor Jo! I know what you mean about the walls. We just received notice of a huge increase in property taxes and have no idea how we'll meet them. Of course moving would be expensive too... How the hell do I know if they have loving homes , or been sold for experiments (I know seems extremely improbible, but I have a vivid imagination), and their mother is still calling for them. Argh! Still miss them and feel guilty though.
