I'm sorry you are sad Peter. You did a good thing to take them in

though, and I'msure you have found good homes for them.

Aw Peter!

First, what a terrible feeling, but at least you know they went to

loving homes. Sorry buddy!

Second, what an awful weight to put on poor Jo!

I know what you mean about the walls. We just received notice of a

huge increase in property taxes and have no idea how we'll meet

them. Of course moving would be expensive too...

Nikki :)

Trouble is, its doing my swede in not knowing whether they are any better off or not. How the hell do I know if they have loving homes , or been sold for experiments (I know seems extremely improbible, but I have a vivid imagination), and their mother is still calling for them.

Argh!

well excuse me for my ignorance, but

isn't winter weather coming to wales soon?

in that case getting into warm homes now, is the best thing

for them now.

I think that it is improbable that they will be abused.

lets hope not and hope for the best.

it's terrible for the mother, but if they were at least six weeks,

then I think that the mother would encourage independence sooner or

later anyhow. although, it's not the same.

is there a way to keep in touch in the future, maybe a phone call

about how the kittens are doing?

To be honest with you, I had thought of asking if we could keep in touch to see how they are doing, but I thought that might be a bad thing, they might think I was checking up on them and not the kittens, and it is probably better to have a clean break.

Still miss them and feel guilty though.

Ahhh... Welsh weather. There's an old proverb... if you can't see the top of

Snowdon, it's raining.... if you can see the top of Snowdon, it's about to

rain... Wales is the country of all year round Winter weather :-)

(Not far enough for your liking I think :-).

Welsh annual rainfall averages 1651 mm and English annual rainfall averages 1259 apparently.

So whats 300+ mil of rain over a year? not a lot, and again it depends whether you live on the top of Snowdon or on the coast, so its hard to take seriously when generalising.

Your weathers a little worse than ours Peter - you might as well give in gracefully rather than go down kicking and screaming.
