If you can have foreigners, then go for Tony Benn... I think it's a real tragedy that he never managed to become Prime Minister... the UK would be a *very* different country if he had! Guest guest
There are now about 3 polls out that are saying they would ask for impeachment. Those who are for the war are well below 50% now and the numbers were well up there before. I think McCain has lost all credibility. Guest guest
Lady Wentworth dined with presidents, Emirs, the mucky mucks in Russia and Spain and was given the royal treatment in Egypt. Her Arabians are internationally famous and people paid small fortunes to get one. She is the only " lady " of any significance to folks who own or show Arabs. When you sell horses, it is like placing children in homes. One keeps in contact, one visits the new homes, the new owners visit your home. You party together after shows and, as breeders, get excited phone calls when the baby grows up and does something note worthy. Horse shows are small communities. Everyone knows everyone else on the circuits and are in and out of each others homes, barns and show tents. I've been to more weddings for children of folks that have bought horses from us than from relatives. That is significant when you consider that Grampa had 18 brothers and sisters and each of them had at least 4 children. I have more relatives than Carter has little liver pills! Like I said, you don't know the reality of it. As to Nader, I've spoken to him when he wasn't " on " and I've seen him in action when there wasn't a camera around or a fundraiser going on. The guy's certifiable! This country would be in worse trouble than it is now if he'd been elected! Guest guest
I've just re-read your mail Lynda - and your comments at the end are aimed entirely at the wrong person. It is not I who is the punk fan, but Fraggle and Peter (VV). So maybe you would like to argue the ins and outs of whether punk should be on key with them. Jo Why, I've even been to England and dined with Lady Wentworth! Corresponded with the powers that be in Bahrain. If it offends you, I'm really sorry that I haven't led a boring life locked into doing the housewifey thing. And, no I don't know every person ever mentioned. Never heard of that David person or 90% of the punk bands you mention. But then, I find that their lack of being able to stay on key grates on my ears as badly as Cash seems to on your's. Too many people basically " lay down & die " when lesser things happen to them. BB Nikki , " heartwerk " <jo.heartwork@g...> wrote: > > Hi Nikki > > He either continued or took up water skiing !
