Guest guest
There was talk on the radio this morning about the increasing trouble in school with disruptive pupils and the fact that teachers cannot restrain them etc. One school has improved dramatically, apparently as a result of the children having their school dinners changed to healthier ones, sitting down to eat them instead of buffet style, and the removal of fizzy drinks from the school. Guest guest
Makes sense. Most fizzy drinks are loaded with sugar and caffeine along with a long list of preservatives. straight out of the Feinstein diet from hell! Guest guest
Thinking of fizzy drinks, has anyone got any idea why it is that if I've had a lot of alcohol to drink the night before, the next day at some point I get really strong cravings for fizzy drink? And I never drink fizzy drink at any other time. Catherine > > On > Behalf Of Lynda > 21 October 2005 19:30 > > Re: Fizzy Drinks > > > Makes sense. Guest guest
i would imagine its a combination of things your body is craving sugars, and soda is a quick fix for such things and, carbonated drinks help to sooth an upset stomach caused by over-indulging Catherine Turner <catherineturner2000 Oct 25, 2005 10:00 AM RE: Fizzy Drinks Thinking of fizzy drinks, has anyone got any idea why it is that if I've had a lot of alcohol to drink the night before, the next day at some point I get really strong cravings for fizzy drink? Guest guest
Well, fizzy drinks make everything move through the blood stream faster, so it logically follows that it would move the alcohol out faster.
