Guest guest
At least when I go to a concert I know I'm going to like the band/s. Sometimes the support band ends up being a future favourite too. Well, the Bay Area has spawned it's own little revolution in metal... admittedly nothing dramatically new for the past about 10 years, but with all the bands that came from there in the early 1990s, it is to US metal what New Orleans was to Jazz! Guest guest
yeah..but thats the metal scene the bay area use to(and still does) have a gigantic punk scene it just seems like in the last 5-8 yrs, the east bay punk scene has degenerated(sorry fer using that terminology) into metal... too much metal influence.... not my style at all... Guest guest
Hi Peter Good point. I was trying to think if any new sounds had come out of the Bay Area metal scene over the last few years. It might be that I am out of touch as I generally (apart from DT and Spocks Beard) find European metal more innovative. Guest guest
Hi Peter So Radio 1 does have some good uses then - I haven't listened for years.
