Guest guest
Good Day to you! Check this out... I remember hearing about the dangers of fluoride for years now. Most tap water in the United States is laced with fluoride, a toxic industrial chemical that has been widely promoted as being healthy for the public. In reality, however, fluoride is a poison that may harm your health. Consider this: The American Dental Association admits that fluoride is harmful to the development of teeth Fluoride is used in rat poison Ninety percent of the fluoride used to fluoridate U.S. water systems comes from the fertilizer industry and may contain trace amounts of various heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and arsenic The only states where less than 25 percent of the tap water is fluoridated are Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, Montana, and New Jersey. The others fluoridate from 25 percent to over 75 percent of their water supplies. Countertop and pitcher filters typically only filter out particulate matter, not fluoride. You can remove fluoride from your drinking water using a reverse osmosis filtering system. THIS WAS POSTED TODAY BY DR. MERCOLA... here's the link if you don't know about him... http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2007/08/06/the- truth-about-tap-water.aspx

Guest guest
From what I've read, Mercola skates dangerously close to being designated a quack; check out his admonishments by FDA and his huckstering of questionable " supplements. Guest guest
I am always wary of those who cry " The sky is falling " but manage to have what you really need, at a steep price, of course. He's also one of the people screaming how bad soy is for you. I also got the original post on a number of my other mail lists, so it seems more like spam than anything else. Guest guest
Check out things for yourself. Yeah, Mercola sells stuff so take that into consideration. however, most of the time I agree with him. I would say a lot of those admonishments are badges of honor if they come from the FDA, the adjunct arm of Big Pharma. Just look at the chemicals they say are okay to ingest. Those " supplements " don't cause disease like the Big Pharma chemicals. Guest guest
I tend to believe rebels like Dr. Mercola over FEDERAL AGENCIES like the FDA. This is the same federal government agency that at one time said hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup are okay to ingest. WRONG! Look at all the problems caused by some of the products the FDA says are OKAY... give me a break. I've heard about fluoride in our water being bad for us LONG before I knew who Dr. Mercola was.... I do take things with a grain of salt... as we all should make our own determinations. Isn't it nice to have a group like this to be able to share with and pass on information that we can take and make our own decisions about. Oh yeah, this is the same FDA that says BOTTLED WATER Is better.... Isn't Dasani and Aquafina TAP WATER? Hum..... Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Loving life, living art... www.michaelsfineartstudio.com Shape in your own image. Guest guest
As a point of fact, FDA did not say hydrogenated oils or corn syrup were good for you. These are both on the GRAS list and therefor given a pass on regulations until Congress decides otherwise. I've often suspected knowing how government works might cure a lot of paranoia. , Milli <mendomilli wrote: > > I tend to believe rebels like Dr. Mercola over FEDERAL AGENCIES like the FDA. Guest guest
When did the FDA ever say those things? Do you have this information? , Milli <mendomilli wrote: > > I tend to believe rebels like Dr. Mercola over FEDERAL AGENCIES like the FDA. Guest guest
The FDA says it by " omissions " . In other words just not saying anything.
