INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 c butter* 3 c sifted all purpose flour* 1 c light brown sugar* 1/2 c milk* 3 tsp baking powder 6 eggs* 2 tsp vanilla 1 c diced walnuts* METHODS: Mix all ingredients in large bowl. Gradually add walnuts. Beat for 20 minutes. Pour into any cake or bundt pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. photo link (step by step): http://picasaweb.google.com/springchildyoko/WalnutPoundCakeWithOatmealCrumbs Oatmeal Crumb Topping INGREDIENTS: 8 tbsp or 1/2 c butter* 1/2 c light brown sugar* 1 c all-purpose flour* 1 1/2 c oatmeal* 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt METHODS: Combine all ingredients together. Spread the crumbs on prepared pound cake. Bake in oven (350F to 375F). If the crumbs begin to brown too much during baking, cover loosely with a piece of foil.
