Guest guest
Donna, I hope you find one of her books soon. I have 2 I bought them both new ages ago. My husband was watching her movie the other day and pulled out the book and picked a recipe. Tonight I am trying another recipe from her book. Guest guest
Wow you have 3 acres. We no longer own, however when we did have our house it was on a hill so I had some one cut the grass. I did the rest, that was when I was a stay at home mom. My daughter cooks, my son can reheat, however he is very rarely home for meals. We are on drastically different schedules. Guest guest
Now that is a good idea, having the husband pick a recipe. Thanks, I think that is great that you husband even when and got the book out and chose it. Hurray for him choosing such a healthy veggie loaded recipe! Guest guest
Oh, that is nice that he cooks dinner for you, even it is isn't how you would have cooked it. LOL my husband only occasionally cooks and when he does, I'd have to say the same thing. Now that our girls are able to help in the kitchen a lot, he rarely does. He takes on a lot more of the outdoor work on our property, for which I really appreciate in this heat. I still take care of the landscaped areas and garden and the girls do all of our mowing on our over 3 acre yard. He keeps the pasture and fence, trimming, etc. looking good. Hurrah for what we all do in our families to make a good team effort to keep our homes working well and training a next generation about what being a good team player is all about!. Judy - glpveg4life Sunday, August 26, 2007 5:27 PM Re: Linda McCartney Dinner Last night Judy Hi Judy: He still cooks his meat to eat with it but at least he also had a lot of veggie. When I was a stay at home mom I cooked every night and then he would cook his meat to go with it. Now since I went back to work several years ago he does most of the cooking during the week as he gets home before me. He does cook vegetarian but not the same way I do. gayle ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour
Guest guest
-Donna, I'll keep an eye out for a Linda Mccartney cook book for you. I know I'll find one. I haven't had a chance to try the recipes in the one I have because it is just so darn hot here. The pumpkins are starting to ripen in the fields so it won't be long now. Harvest time is such a beautiful time of the year. Can't wait for the changing of the colors and cooler weather so I can bake. Have you tried Freecylcle for the book?..My friend in NH has great luck with finding books on freecycle. I'll keep looking.
