Guest guest
Our Question of the week is What are some school lunch ideas that you make for your children and yourself? Please share ideas that may involve not having a microwave oven available and those that might. I'm sure that many of you have faced this dilemma. We can learn so much from each other. Guest guest
My niece and two nephews loved a baggy of cut up veggies and a little container of ranch dressing or Vegenaise, cold poizza, cold spaghetti, flour tortilla pinwheels, tofuna in a small container or eggless egg salad an then a roll to make a non-soggy sandwich on the spot. Mini bagels and croissants are a big hit sometimes it is a simple as switching up the breads. my kids don't like many leftovers at room temperature so I am at a loss there. Guest guest
Tapenade is an olive paste, or mediterranean olive spread. You can use it as a spread in sandwiches, good with blander stuff like cucumbers, lettuce, and even tofu. It goes really well with tomatoes too. It is salty, so try not to use many other salty things with it. You can also serve it with crackers or baguette at parties, some of you might have seen it this way. It is nice to add a creative vegan layer to sandwiches but you have to like olives, some folks don't. , Steph <mrswalp29 wrote: > > what is tapenade? > Steph > > > > > Got a little couch potato? > Check out fun summer activities for kids. > >
