There are TONS of vegan appetizers available. I've got a potluck next Monday and I'm doing a vegan Mediterranean platter--baba ganouj (garlicky eggplant puree), hummus (chickpeas and tahini), muhammara (pureed roasted red peppers) and maybe some grape leaves if I have time! Let me know if you want recipes for any of those. Katy
Guest guest
Hi Katy,I'd love the recipes. lol One can never have too many recipes. I've heard of that baba ganouj before. Would you serve it with tortilla chips? I was munching on some sesame tortilla chips last night on the way home from choir and they tasted really really good. Thanks!Lori>Kathryn Carpman > > >Re: Vegan Appetizers >Mon, 18 Nov 2002 20:17:14 -0600 > >At 06:11 PM 11/18/02 -0800, you wrote: > >Hi, I'm new as well. I joined this list a few days ago. Guest guest
I posted 3 of them, I will try to post the rest later when I get a chance to write them. (the ones missing are the baked samosas which I highly recommend, and the tamales). The tamales are a bit of work, and i would suggest practicing a bit before making them for the real event. > > > , " Ah'reylia della Cava " > <LadyAhreylia@> wrote: > > > > I am doing a vegan bridal shower in Jan and I would love these > recipes!! > > > > Laura > > ------------------- > > > > Posted by: " cabrita_trl " roseta_lleo@ > > <roseta_lleo@?Subject=+Re%3A%20Help%21%20Need%20Wedding%20Menu% > 20ideas%21> > > cabrita_trl <http://profiles./cabrita_trl> > > Mon Aug 27, 2007 12:32 pm (PST) Many years ago I made vegan > apetizers for a > > wedding of 80 people > > (that was my gift to them).
