Guest guest
forgot to say we put banana on this a lot of times, and you can also use your imagination. Let the child help make it, they are more willing to eat what they make themselves ;o) - Puterwitch Thursday, August 30, 2007 10:05 AM lunch box idea peanut butter wrap wrap of choice peanut butter cereal of choice spread on the peanut butter, and sprinkle the cereal on top, we use cheerios, but you can use anything, wrap it up. Guest guest
You can always use a thermos and put in soup, stews, rice and stir fries, etc. GB , " Puterwitch " <puterwitch wrote: > > peanut butter wrap > > wrap of choice > peanut butter > cereal of choice > > spread on the peanut butter, and sprinkle the cereal on top, we use cheerios, but you can use anything, wrap it up. > > ENJOY! > > hugs, > Chanda > > >

Guest guest
I make my kids spegettios by simply adding tomato soup to ABC pasta or any other smaller pasta. They haven't caught on yet and I can reduce the sodium and get Amy's brand so it is a little more nutritous. Steph Be a better Heartthrob. Get better relationship answers from someone who knows. Guest guest
GB, Is there a thermos brand that works better then others? I sent my kids to school yesterday with rice and they both said it was cold and the little one only needed to wait 2.5 hours to eat it so I was disappointed. Steph Be a better Globetrotter. Guest guest
Steph, not GB here, but for years I've used Nissan stainless steel containers: http://www.coffee-makers-espresso-machines.com/thermos-nissan-jmg500-thermal-ins\ ulated-food-jar.html You have to " prime " them by first pouring very hot or boiling water inside and letting it sit while you prepare the rest of their lunch. Then you drain out the water, wipe the container dry, and add the heated food. It definitely stays warm until lunchtime -- my kids love warmed leftovers for lunch! Guest guest
Sharon, I will try to " prime " ours before I buy these. That is wonderful I will try it. Guest guest
I agree. Stainless is the best. I am not familiar with Nissan brand but I am sure they work well.. I think I have Stanley brand. mm They are heavier.
