I've not tried starting it from seed. I will have to see what happens. If it works I will gladly send you some. Guest guest
Hi, I just received this this evening: http://www.mountainvalleygrowers.com/ecommerce/products.php?cat=33 <http://www.mountainvalleygrowers.com/ecommerce/products.php?cat=33> I'm not associated but I do buy plants from them. Scroll down the page and you'll find Lion's Tail for only $1.99 and that's a plant not seeds. The only bad part is this: " There is a minimum order of 6 plants with a dollar amount of 23.70 " , so obviously you'd have to buy either a lot of their fall extravaganza or some of their other plants. That's on the A-L Fall Extravaganza page, There are also M-R and S-Z pages and links to them are on the left side of the page. They have lots of herbs. Just thought I would pass this on for those interested. Guest guest
Just a note about the Wild Dagga plant that we discussed weeks ago. My niece was just visiting in NM and came across a beautiful specimen of this plant growing in a friend's yard. She is asking that they save seed for her so hopefully we will have some to share . My Lemon Balm continues to grow like a weed..LOL but sorry to say the Basil is going..I am drying as much as I can. I will certainly miss the Basil more than any of the herbs. Guest guest
Bron, You will not get high cooking with dagga anymore than you would if you toss pot into a recipe. It's a much bigger process. You would have a better chance of catching a buzz off NyQuil cold medicine. Dagga had a bad rap on the net. Using herbs wisely can be very beneficial and open up your taste buds.
