Hello All,

I've not posted before but have been a member for a couple months. I do have

some recipes utilizing these grains: Spelt , Kamut

Breakfast Kamut

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup Kamut -- presoaked

1 cup lowfat milk or soy milk

1/2 cup sultana raisins

1 tablespoon honey

salt to taste

 

For a quick start, let the grains soak overnight.

 

Plastic Steamers: Fill water reservoir to maximum and turn on machine. Add

drained Kamut, milk, and sultanas to rice bowl and steam for 50 minutes.

Drizzle Kamut with honey before serving.

 

Metal Steamers: Coat rice bowl with nonstick spray. Add drained Kamut, milk,

sultanas, and an additional 1 cup of water to rice bowl. Turn on machine.

Let Kamut steam for 10 additional minutes after steamer switches to warm.

Drizzle with honey before serving.
