Guest guest
Don't we have a recipe for it in the files. I hunted. No luck. Thought I had seen one. BK
Guest guest
Hi Sue, I don't see one either but there are a couple garden blends from sunshine (yOkO) that you might like as a starting point. The closest tasting I've gotten to V8 with my juicer is with tomatoes, celery *including the tops*, cucumber/zucchini, light on the carrots and add a little onion & garlic powder after juicing. Even then it doesn't taste nearly as salty. You wouldn't want a sweet kind of tomato - I think I used Romas. Let us know what you come up with! Peace, Diane , " Sue " <kup wrote: > > Don't we have a recipe for it in the files. I hunted. No luck. Guest guest
What would my life be without google and the internet and TV? Hm, peaceful and I'd get some reading done. Never mind. I have no idea whether these are any good at all but Imagine, if you will, a drink. A seemingly ordinary drink, this, beckoning on a hot summer day. Yet, something seems amiss, not enough salt. uh, sorry, here's the web page. http://chetday.com/blog/2006/02/v8-juice-recipe.htm or http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/531/V8_Juice31207.shtml or http://www.hugs.org/Homemade_V8_Juice.shtml Obviously need the vegetarian worcestershire sauce. Guest guest
I did find Chet Day's recipe, (In fact, I get his recipes every day)and that one looked pretty good. The other two recipes call for cooking. I would rather use my juicer. Thanks for the links.
