Guest guest
I have to look for Fiestaware. I love purple Donna Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Maureen <ailanthus Fri, 21 Sep 2007 07:44:49 Stephanie - Re:Corelle plates After setting a record for chipping & breaking dishes, we gave away what was left of the old set and bought Fiestaware last winter during the holiday sales. I love them, too!!! We have bright purple dinner plates and everything else in a variety of colors. It makes me happy just looking at them! It's like having a really cool playroom, but translated into place settings. And not a chip on 'em yet (Uh oh, did I just jinx myself?) Guest guest
I want the plum set. It does look sturdy. I'm afraid of breaking any pieces, so we don't use it much. About 25 years ago a friend of mine got me some brightly colored medium-sized Fiestaware plates in an antique store. Eventually, I got rid of the bright orange ones, and I thought it was because they had something radioactive in the paint. Perhaps it was just lead. Purple Fiestaware intrigues me, too! lucinda

Guest guest
My 89 year-old mother has a full set of the original Fiesta Ware in gold complete with the lead glaze. We were raised on it and we all survived. I was delighted when it came out again, unleaded version, of course. I was able to buy her some things she did not have originally and of course the cups that had been broken. The color was different shade of yellow/gold and the pottery is a little different in how it feels. Since this was our everyday dish set, there are many chips and cups without handles. I think that the new version of Fiesta is less likely to chip than my mother's original. Kathleen Eureka CA They have them at Macy's and a few other department stores. Guest guest
I bought mine at Dillards....online. In Peacock and Sunflower. I have a 4 piece place setting. But, my Gusto bowls that I want were .99 cents cheaper at Dillards than at the outlet. Don't know about shipping, though. Guest guest
Hi, I'd love to see what this Fiesta ware looks like, and in different colours! I wonder if they have that kind in Australia. Cheers, Barb ---- thelilacflower 9/21/2007 10:54:33 PM Vegetarian Group Re:FiestaWare plates I have to look for Fiestaware. I pickedup something similar at $2/plate (75% off) yesterday. There were only 7 of them at the grocery. We have a pretty high attrition rate of plates right now, so its nice to have enough for the family to eat dinner off of that match.
