Guest guest
I've been looking at those grills online for a long time & decided that I need one too. I have a question about using the grill. Do you spray it with anything when you toast sandwiches or do you butter the bread when you make the sandwiches? thanks, Rhoda -- Rhoda Jayne
Guest guest
Good question, When we toast the sandwiches we can not spray on it.Before the toast you can spray a littel bit. When we make sandwiches if we put butter on the bread It feel good test. Specially after the toast it has nice aroma and crispy brown bread. Guest guest
I don't spray it at all. There is no sticking either. Just a quick wipe with a damp cloth afterwards. You'll love it. Guest guest
I don't put anything on the bread outsides or spray it. It toasts up perfect. Just wipe it out with a damp cloth after you're finished using it and it has cooled down. Guest guest
Hi, I just get a bit of paper towel and and wipe the grill with a bit of oil, but you don't really have to do anything. Hope that helps. Cheers, Barb
Guest guest
That's good to know! I wondered if they would toast up or not without added oil. Every Friday night for the past 6 weeks I've been eating vegetarian quesadillas when we go out. That's been one of my favorite veggie meals. The other day I had a California Classic at McAllisters chain cafe. It was a toasted pita sandwich with mozarella, provlone, lettuce, tomatoes & olive salad in the pita. I will be looking for one when I go shopping tomorrow. thanks, Rhoda On 9/23/07, wwjd <jtwigg wrote: > > I don't put anything on the bread outsides or spray it. It toasts up > perfect. Guest guest
I read....and so I do! Spray my bread. Cook. Wet a paper towel and put it on the grill when it is still damn. It steams. But, then you can just wipe off any of the 'crusties' that are left on the grill. My grill stays pretty clean. Guest guest
I picked up a panini maker at WalMart this afternoon & made grilled portabello mushrooms & cheese quesadillas. It was all awesome! I didn't need to use any spray or oil either. My DS will be excited to see the grill when he comes home from work tonight. I'm sure he'll be making grilled cheese sandwiches too!
