Guest guest
Thanks everyone for all of your suggestions on the " milk " issue. Today I got some Rice milk to start with that. I have alot of recipies that call for milk, so will let you know how they work. Again thanks ! Susan
Guest guest
Hi Susan, I've found a soy milk here In Australia, called " Aussie Light Soy " with calcium. It's great for any recipe needing " milk " . Hope you find the right stuff. Personally, I haven't had much tasty luck with rice milk, too oil for me. Guest guest
Hey Susan, I just bought a bag of soymilk powder at my health foods store. Havent made any yet but it was a lot less expensive than the pre-made. Also, if you have an Asian supermarket in your area, you may want to venture there to buy your soy milk. I just bought 2 half gallons, sweetened, for $1.59 a half gallon (beats $3.50 a half gallon for Silk or 8th Continent!)! Dont ask me the brand, cant read Chinese/Japanese. ) It was delicious. Also bought another brand that I will be opening tomorrow morning to try. Just a thought.
