Guest guest
Severed Hand Raspberry Chipotle Cream Cheese Dip Make a block of cream cheese appear like a severed hand by cutting it to shape. Then top with a mixture of raspberry preserves, adobo sauce, and vinegar for an eerie, but tasty dip. Ingredients: 1 8-ounce package cream cheese 5 smoked almonds 1 cup raspberry preserves 1-1/2 tablespoons adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce 1-1/2 tablespoons raspberry vinegarWheat or melba crackers Method Place cream cheese in center of serving platter. Using a sharp knife, cut 4 lengthwise slits in cream cheese, equally spaced, approximately halfway down the block of cream cheese, cutting all the way through the block of cream cheese. Using your hands, shape five " fingers " from the cut sections of the cream cheese. Round off opposite end of block of cream cheese to resemble palm. Place smoked almonds at the tip of each finger to resemble fingernails. In a small bowl, stir together raspberry preserves, adobo sauce, and raspberry vinegar. Pour raspberry mixture over palm end of cream cheese. Serve with wheat or melba crackers. This is so easy and my daughters friends thought this was so cool, not to mention they ate it all! - Laura
