You split them open & eat the pulp and seeds inside. Excellent in

smoothies too.

so you actually eat both the pulp and seeds...? that's where I was confused...

can you peel the thing and eat it that way? or does it not peel easily?....

The seeds are edible; they are soft too. I don't think you're

supposed to eat the peel. I always just cut them open. I haven't had

one in a long time - DH doesn't like them - but now I want one lol :)

there are purple passion fruit....banana passionfruit....I love then just by

splitting the skin and gorging myself with the sweet fruit...also great in icing

on cakes or between biscuits...in cheescakes....fruit salad...but have not in

all my years eaten the outer part... passion butter is as great as lemon butter

No, don't eat the peel. The seeds are fine though.
