I moved here from Albuquerque, NM and am still experiencing a huge culture shock. (My high school had more kids than the population of this entire town!) Not many veggies around here, but I've been doing it since I was 11 (that makes 20 years next month!) so my kids and I are pretty well versed in how to handle things! I'm originally a Brooklyn Girl; lived there for most of my life, but my new life, with children, has been spent out " on the island " (Yes, I know, Brooklyn and Queens are geographically part of Long Island).
