Guest guest
Has anyone tried using corn husks for wrappers for home made sausage look alikes? Deanna in Colorado
Guest guest
I know I've seen on one of the PBS cooking shows about making non-meat sausages, but instead of using casings, they rolled them up in aluminum foil and sealed it extremely tight to shape it in a log shape, like sausages. Then boiled it for a time, let it cool off and fried it in olive oil to give it the classic finish of sausage. Maybe this would work? Guest guest
It sure does sound like a reasonable idea. I would like to give this a try over the long holiday coming up. I'll have to gather some recipes and ingredients.
