I'm going to try that crumbleberry with applesauce instead of the butter and see if its decent. It was sinfully good, and I don't even want to know how much fat is in all that butter. I ate almost all of it myself over several days. Amy ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

My MIL's family has an apple/cherry orchard in upstate NY, my inlaws are there this week. They always bring each of the brothers a big bag of apples and I asked her to bring me an extra so I can share more with my mom and have extra for apple butter & apple sauce. Yum...Amy ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
I love PBS! I have gotten lots of books there including " The New Moosewood Cookbook " and " 1001 Lowfat Vegetarian Recipes " though I havn't made anything out of them yet. I have been sick with the flu for over a week and havn't had energy to cook. I can't wait to feel better so I can make the Crumbleberry Bar recipe posted a few days ago If anyone wants to check out PBS heres a link: http://www.paperbackswap.com/index.php Feel free to put my ID April925 as a referal if you join April , akfral wrote: I have their cookbooks in my wishlist on paperback swap. Guest guest
Thanks Let me know how it comes out with the applesauce. You may not be able to replace it completely, but subbing half might work ok. I was thinking of making it with apples, my Aunt gave me a bunch and I thought this would be a good way to use some.
