Guest guest
Not much, yet. It started coming down really hard and fast yesterday afternoon, but quit after just a few minutes and warmed up so most of the new, still wet snow melted. It is enough that you can't tell how long the grass under the snow is, and you can't tell whether or not I raked all the leaves last month, or whether or not the kids left a school book out there, though! Not enough that it has to be shoveled, not enough that I can't find the wood pile and not enough that my husband can hide the dump truck he parked in my back yard. Have a joyous day. Guest guest
You are funny Katie. Why is your husband trying to hike a dump truck in the back yard? Well, the temperature reached 97 here (Pasadena) yesterday, humidity maximum was 11%. No wonder we have a few fires raging around us, them pesky Santa Ana winds again.... The state forests are closed so we can't go hiking/camping....so we are painting the house, sleeping ourtside in the back yeard the last couple of days. Very nice and warm. Guest guest
I loved the way you descibed how much snow you had. Thanks for a good chuckle. It's 54 and damp outside here. Feels very chilly. The girls have a soccer game later this afternoon and will be cooler by then. They aren't wearing their shorts today. LOL They have on sweat pants and turtle necks with their soccer shirts on top. I'll be wearing my coat and have a fleece blanket over me. This must sound warm to you Katie, up there in Alaska.
