Since you've brought the subject up... I have to ask.... at what point do you draw the line with the "right to bear arms"... when the law was written, machine guns were unheard of, handguns uncommon (if even invented - I think they may have had one-shot pistols, but I'm not sure of the exact historical development of projectile weapons) - the most usual sort of weapon was a sword or knife. I mean, if it can be extended to all forms of guns, is it acceptable for people to wander around with pocket-sized nuclear bombs? I mean, they're still arms, aren't they?
