Guest guest
That is sad news. I suppose he reached a good age though, and I don't think he was ill for long. Guest guest
Hi Michael, I went to the peta website and I find it curious that there isn't a single mention about donald watson on their webpage. Aren't they, all about Veganism? Nor did I see any stories about his passing away (just that one bbc article) it really is a shame that there isn't more respect for this kind man who started a movement that speaks to my soul. -anouk , " Michael Benis " <michaelbenis@n...> wrote: > > Just heard Donald, founder of the Vegan Society, died last night in his > sleep at the age of 95 >

Guest guest
from PETA's main page People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 850,000 members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world. Founded in 1980, PETA is dedicated to establishing and protecting the rights of all animals. PETA operates under the simple principle that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment. PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other " pests, " and the abuse of backyard dogs. PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns. Don't need no politician Tell me things I ought to be Neither no optician Tell me what I ought to see No one tells you nothing Even when you know they know They tell you what you should be They don't like to see you grow
