78? Well, I was born that year, so maybe I should be a heartier

breed...With that kind of welcome into the world, I should be able to

withstand all sorts of cold!

But, I'm a wimp. I need lots of sun and coconut drinks with kicky little

umbrellas. ;P

We haven't had any here. I hope there was enough for your daughter to

play in, or don't kids do that with snow nowadays? I don't play in it

too much now, but always go out with my camera.

We have had a lot today on Tyneside but it has been the wet and mushy sort

which

doesn't settle. Had to go out in it to the hospital ((20 minutes walk through

the park) and

put some food out by the path for the birds on the way. We need to feed them at

this time

of year. The rooks and magpies in the park seemed to be enjoying the snow as

well.

We feed the birds as well - they certainly do need help in this cold

weather.
