Guest guest Posted December 23, 2005 Report Share Posted December 23, 2005 so.. all you united statsian folks on here weird question remember not so long ago when their seemed to be a terror alert, of, every 15 minutes? when ashcrofts color coded alert symbols blurbedled off the news in mutlicolored horror shows... red alert! yellow!! fuschia! when there seemed to be anew plot revealed almost everyday when sales of gas masks and duct tape went thru the roof... right up until.. the election of 2004 remember...al queda was going to disrupt the elections... and then poof nuthin sooo wot happened? there has been nary a peep since how about those who got addicted to the daily warnings? the color coded flashing lights..the tag lines scrolling beneath newscasts... " warning, terrorist plot to blow up every american toilet uncovered " did we win? did the terrorists go away? er were they no longer needed? what is peace to the people who work the land and die in wars? it was learned in a game that was played by us all who held the top of the hill from the rest was called the king and I can't believe it all was good for humankind Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess I did not notice that they had stopped, but honestly, I never paid attention to terror alerts. I figure it will either happen -- or it won't. I am probably just being stubborn but I believe that if I worry about terrorism, change my life to accomodate it (or the Consitution), then the terrorist wins.
