Guest guest
Yes, I got the october and november issues from the Veggie roadshow. The latter was slightly better but I was fairly unimpressed. One of the articles talked about body image and how important it is not to try and fit in the media model of beauty but rather to live accordingly to your (ayurvedic in this feature) body type, then used an extremly skinny and young model to demonstrate yoga poses! I find the fashion pages a bit tedious as well. I was disappointed that it seems to buy into the same stereotypical view of what women want from a magazine (fashion, recipes, where to buy stuff from, a lot of advertising and a few features thrown in, often written by men, of course!) Anyway, just my cent worth of thoughts... Guest guest
Thanks for that. I saw it advrtised in Veggie health magazine and thought I would get a subscription for my other half. But when I went to the website I realised it would not be suitable for a geordie man! , Alex Iantaffi <alex.iantaffi@g...> wrote: > > Yes, I got the october and november issues from the Veggie roadshow. Guest guest
Yes, it is in the uk. You can online at www.lifescapemag.co.uk According to the ad in veggiehealth you can buy it in borders bookshop so I have asked other half to look out for it next time he is in there perusing the camera and car mags. You know how men stand around in newsagents reading the blokey mags and not buying them? I am not keen enough to get a subscription without seeing a copy. , " jo " <jo.heartwork@g...> wrote: > > I haven't - is it in the UK?
