YOu should get to the doctor soon I think. Do you think it is an infection

of a blood clot? It wouldn't hurt to take extra vitamin C until you can get

to the doctor.

can anyone shop there? or just the people on Kaiser.

I speak to a lot of hispanic, californians on a daily basis as part of

my job.

sadly almost all that I speak to have no insurance. they confide in me

their worst problems. I am just an interviewer, but it touches me.

Mexicans (in california) are the large part, they pick our

strawberries, our grapes, and a myriad other fruits.

One woman I spoke to today says her job is to first, pull Garlic

out of the ground, then she separates the good ones from the

rotten ones.

she says that for the life of her she can't get that darn garlic smell

off her hands.

most of them live right there and there on the farm. When I ask if

they rent or own, some are not sure? this I find very odd.

for the most part, they pick a lot of the foods that we eat in the US.

I don't know waht the answer is but feel sad when they complain of

hunger and not affording a simple medical or dental visit.

my favorite food to put in everything has got to be olive oil,

garlic and ketchup are a close second.

my favorite is garlic on oranges.

It's such a huge problem. Here the farmers are upset because they have been tightening up the borders and so there are few people to pick the crops. It almost sounds like the issue is lack of people who want that job or can take that job. The farmers are saying they don't have enuf money to pay well enuf. Sadly, the situation is often much worse in Mexico as far as money, food and medical.Anouk Sickler <zurumato wrote: can anyone shop there? or just the people on Kaiser.I speak to a lot of hispanic, californians on a daily basis as part ofmy job.sadly almost all that I speak to have no insurance. they confide in metheir worst problems.
