Guest guest
Welcome to the group. It is good sprinkled on potatoes fixed most any way, in soups, and I sprinkle it on cooked veggie on my plate. Use it to season breading meals that you use to bread and fry or bake things. Judy - leigh Friday, November 02, 2007 8:27 AM New Here Hello Everyone I am new here too. My name is Leigh, I live in New Zealand and summer is almost here for us. I have two very spoilt tortoiseshell-cats, Lucy and Candy, both 11 years old. I love reading your posts and have already snagged several recipes. My husband and I are meat eaters but decreasing it rapidly, we are increasing our vegetable intake and I made the stove top casserole last week and my husband loved it and said he would like to have more meatless meals, I was delighted ) I am very interested in low fat meals as we are both trying to lose weight, I do go to weight watcher so was pleased to see some of the recipes posted have had Weight Watcher points added at the bottom of the recipe. I snagged Emeril's Creole Seasoning but would like some suggestions on how to use it please? Cheers Leigh
Guest guest
Welcome Leigh. Creole seasoning is great on blackened tofu, on beans, stews, even salads and great on sliced cucumbers. Oh and on gumbo of course! Guest guest
Thank you for the warm welcome and many thanks to the person who sent me links to the weight loss group and other group that was sweet of you. I can see I will enjoy using Creole seasoning but I will have to google gumbo as I have no idea what it is LOL. Just one other question for now, what is TNT please? I have seen it on a few recipes. Guest guest
Hi Leigh, TNT means Tried and True Recipe. It means that the person sending it in has tried it and enjoyed it. All recipes sent to the group are supposed to be TNT recipes, so unless they specify, NOT TNT. It should be consided a tried and true recipe and that you can ask the person that sent it in any question you might have and they can help you. This make our recipe files very valuable and true treasure chest of great recipes. Have you checked out the Recipes Files, under Files on our Home Page? It is where all of our recipes are filed that the members here so generously share. Please feel free to share your reviews of any recipes you try that we have in the files here. In each catagory, there are many sub folders of recipes that will open up when you click on them. You could cook all year and never make all of our wonderful recipes in the files. Have fun and share some of your TNT vegetarian recipes for us to enjoy and ask any questions you may have. Jump into the conversations. We are a very friendly helpful group. Here's to lots of fun cooking, Judy - Leigh Friday, November 02, 2007 5:21 PM Re: New Here - leigh Thank you for the warm welcome and many thanks to the person who sent me links to the weight loss group and other group that was sweet of you.
