Guest guest
Give the cats a couple of unbreakable ornaments to bat around and leave the last couple of rows of limbs with no ornaments and you won't have any troubles from your kitties, I bet. Use all unbreakable ornaments on your trees and then if they get interested they can't break them. I've always had cats and a Christmas tree and never had a problem with them bothering the tree. The do however love to go lay on the tree skirt under the glow of the Christmas lights and sleep for hours. So cute. It is like they think this special sleeping spot was made just for them................. Put up that beautiful tree Donna and catch the Christmas spirit, darling. Guest guest
That's another thing I did two years ago when I bought my absolutely beautiful 7' fake tree at a flea market ($35, not bad!) - I got all new ornaments since I had lost so many to cats attacking the tree, plus I had two 1 year old dogs at the time and a granddaughter on the way - I bought all new unbreakable ornaments. They're a lot better looking now than in the old days, in fact, I had to read the packages to make sure that they wouldn't break! Last year my granddaughter was 9 months old and I didn't lose a single ornament to her pulling them off the tree! The dogs aren't as interested in it as I thought they would be, the ones they knocked over were due to them getting too close to the tree when they went around the couch. The cats are too old now to care, Patches was 9 in August and Charlie will be 5 December 1st. Guest guest
I see you've never come home to no ornaments on the bottom half of the tree and a pair of cat eyes staring at you from inside the tree....
