Guest guest
Hello! I was wondering about hot pretzels with a bread machine, should i just pick a dough then bend it like a pretzel to make one? Any clues!?
Guest guest
Wow, I need to get off the computer, but I had some fun googling pretzel techniques. OK, here's an interesting site that compares boiling the pretzel before baking (like a bagel) versus spritzing with water: http://www.thefreshloaf.com/recipes/pretzels Here's a soft pretzel tutorial: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Soft-Pretzels Here's how to make sourdough pretzels (YUM): http://sourdoughmonkeywrangler.blogspot.com/2007/01/logical-pretzels.html And here's a YouTube video showing how professional pretzels are formed and cooked (I am sure it is a lye bath they are using): This one's a bit off topic, but it's how to throw a party inspired by the TV show, The Office (and includes a pretzel recipe): http://paperloveetsy.weebly.com/how-to.html I am helping my youngest make some whole wheat bread today. :-) Sharon amevans20 wrote: > Hello! Guest guest
I used to have a bread machine and it had a different recipe for pretzels. I don't have it anymore, but you should be able to find a book at the library or a recipe online. I don't remember how the recipe differed. Guest guest
I do not have a bread machine however I have made pretzels using store bought bread dough. You do need to boil before baking. Gayle ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
