Guest guest
Sue, Wow what a great price for Rediburger. Another good way to use it, is to cut off both ends of the can, run a knife around it and push it out. Slice it up and brown it in a frying pan with a little Pam spray or oil. It is ready to eat, without adding anything else, this way, as a Veggie Burger. You could also bake them, flipping them to brown them on both sides. The Bill Best " Beaf " Seasoning or the McKay's " Beef " style seasoning is available at any Adventist Book Center www.adventistbookcenter.com They will drop it in the mail to you. Just call them and order it over the phone. Click on the store locator to find the one that is closest to you. I think that Atlanta would be. There is one on Memorial Drive and it has a very nice Health food section. Also the Village Market in Collegedale, TN, near Chattanooga carries it. I know it is just north of you. I know some health food stores carry it also. You can also order it off Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/002-4674548-3824827?url=search-alias%3Dgour\ met & field-keywords=McKay%27s & x=6 & y=22 http://www.billsbest.net/ Here is the Bill's Best Seasonings website. Both McKay's and Bill's Best are great products that I use frequently. Who makes the Vegetable Steaks that you bought? Maybe I can give you some ideas if I know for sure which product it is. Enjoy, Judy - Sue Wednesday, November 28, 2007 8:32 AM Re: Vegetarian Meatloaf - recipe repost Thank you...thank you...thank you! I picked up 3 cans of RediBurger for .99 cents each in a sale basket at a local Ingles store. Seems no one buys them up here in the Ga. Mountains. Guess they are too busy eating buffets. I also got a can of Vegetable Steaks. And so far, I haven't been able to figure out what to do with any of them. Now, I know. Except....I will add Wasabi mustard instead of the Veganaise. Uh....not sure where to get the " beef " seasoning. Health food store? Sue ---- wwjd 11/27/2007 9:38:43 PM vegetarian_ group Vegetarian Meatloaf - recipe repost This is delicious.
