Wonderful gift idea

I did this a few years ago and my niece cried so hard when I gave this to her

for Christmas. I found a blank journal book with a nice cover design. I filled

it full of all my recipes, on every other page I would cut little quotes from

magazines, cute little pictures and place on empty spaces on the pages.

You have no idea how touching this is as a gift. I've been cooking from my

Mom's old recipes lately, I wish I could ask her what she meant by this

ingredient or measurement or what degree for the oven or what sze pan but since

I can't I jiust do a little trial and error and so far everything has turned out

perfectly.

that is wonderful. I have no more parents or grandparents. we missed the boat

Donna,

I did that last year for my MIL & SIL. My SIL is the one who got me

to switch over and become a vegetarian. They both loved the gift and

tell me how much the use the recipes in it.

I am going to pick up a journal and make one for my dad he went vegetarian a

month after us but he doesn't eat very healthy so this is a wonderful idea.
