Guest guest
You can go into our recipe files and find some good TNT easy recipes for him to add into the book with all your own. Get a few health magazines or Vegetarian Times magazines and add some little healthy tips in the book. I really think it will touch him in knowing you took time to assemble and make the book with love. Next I want to make a journal for my sister and niece of all Mom's old recipes. Maybe they won't read this, I hope lol. They are members. This will take time, I have to decipher her writing and make the recipe before I can pass it on. Guest guest
One year my sister gave me a Recipe album. It is like a photo album that holds the 3 x 5 photo's. I slipped some of my recipes into the pockets and then I have a protective cover for them. Just thought this might help someone out. Guest guest
This is a great idea. My daughter is a meat eater, despite my attempts to convince her that she needs to add more vegetables to their diet. But she's not a great cook - she moved out at 15 because she hated her step-father so she never really learned how to cook. I think I'll work on making her a cookbook for Christmas next year, or maybe even for her birthday in March if I can get enough together. I'm sure she'd love having some simple recipes that she would be able to cook easily. I'd just like to get them to eat more veggies! I swear, her boyfriend (they've been together since they were 15, and they'll both be 22 in March), is afraid of green things. And we were talking one night about what I was going to make for dinner with him and my granddaughter (salad, spaghetti and garlic bread) and he said, with the most disgusted look on his face " She'll eat the salad first. " And she did! Picked the tomato out, then the onion, then the lettuce, then the mushrooms from the spaghetti, then the garlic bread and finally the pasta! Such a funny girl and not even 2 yet! ---- thelilacflower 12/5/2007 12:40:42 PM Vegetarian Group Re: Steph Re: Wonderful gift idea You can go into our recipe files and find some good TNT easy recipes for him to add into the book with all your own.
