Guest guest
Hey Folks! My exciting news is I get to see all of my family for Christmas!! Yay! I'm very excited, I haven't seen them since May. My dilemma is that none know I've become a vegetarian, and they will all be feasting on turkey, roast beast, etc... I'd like to bring a really great vegetarian dish (no potatoes they make 3 different kinds) that I can enjoy instead of meat, and they will enjoy as well. I've got an a-typical meat and potatoes family that doesn't even know what tofu is. Any suggestions would be wonderful!!! Thanks so much in advance! Guest guest
Hi Catherine, congrats! Listen, I have been a veg for 3 years this December 31st. I don't know what tofu is either, well.... I don't eat it too often. Take a browse through the recipe files and see what grabs you. I have had company here already that didn't even notice that I had all vegetarian selections because it all just looked so good. Lasagna is always a good choice, or a stir fry with lots of broccoli. GO take a look. hugs, Chanda - Catherine Friday, December 07, 2007 2:33 PM Really excellent recipe NEEDED Hey Folks! My exciting news is I get to see all of my family for Christmas!! Yay! Guest guest
Hi, there I like to eat tofu often at home with my family, Lot of people like to eat it from Chinese, Japanese...It said " its process that soybeans into soymilk, soymilk to slurry, and slurry to curds and whey. The curds are then skimmed off the top of the whey and pressed into a forming container lined with cheesecloth. This " cheese " of the soybean becomes tofu, and, traditionally, the pigs get the whey. I also like to drink soymilk at home and buy it the local grocery store. Enjoy with Jia , " Puterwitch " <puterwitch wrote: > > Hi Catherine, > congrats! Guest guest
I'd look in the pasta or the casserole recipe folders. Lily
