Guest guest Posted December 26, 2007 Report Share Posted December 26, 2007 @@@@@ Volvi me Ladoxido - Greek Pearl Onions with Dressing 1-2 Pinch Dill, Finely Chopped 2-3 Tablespoon Olive Oil 2 1/4 lb Pearl Onions, Small Onion Bulbs 1-2 Pinch Pepper, To Taste 4 oz Red Wine Vinegar 2-3 Pinch Salt, To Taste Clean the onion bulbs and boil in a mixture of a little water and half the vinegar for 15-20 minutes. Drain the onion bulbs. Beat the remaining vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and dill. Pour the oil and vinegar dressing over top and serve. Servings: 6 Source: Eat Greek Tonight Formatted by Chupa Babi: 12.26.07 ChupaNote: this works fine with a bag or two of frozen prepared pearl onions, as well. Just adjust the dressing to the weight of the onions. These are served as part of meze (appetizer plate) or as a side with roasted [favorites].
