I know this mixer is the Cadillac of mixers. I call

it a Cadillac since it's so BIG and 97% of the people

love or want one. I got rid of mine. I could not

stand it, I did not connect with it. My Mom has gone

through about 5 of those things, she wouldn't use

anything but that mixer. I love the hand held Kitchen

Aid mixer and it has dough hooks. Funny how we all

have different tastes.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,

With tangerine trees and marmalade skies

Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,

A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Last year my granddaughter gave me a Cooks stand up mixer and I love it.

I have always used a hand mixer but age has worked its magic on my wrists and

I cannot hold one like I used to.

I really like the Cooks mixer. I think this is the brand sold at J. C.

Penny's and is cheaper than a Kitchen Aid.

When I was looking for a new mixer I was getting frustrated as I was only

finding the Kitchen Aid which was just to expensive, I went to Macy's, Bed Bath

and Beyond, Linens and Things, and Target. I finally had to go to Walmart

to get the Sunbeam. I very rarely if ever go to Walmart.

I had a hand held for years and really wanted a stand up mixer. I don't leave

it out on the counter, though. It is heavy and hard to lift, but it always gets

put away after use. I can't stand to have something that big on my counters.

If fact, nothing sits always on my counter top. When the kitchen is cleaned,

the counter tops are bare.
