Guest guest
amen!!!! Since the grandson person has developed a passion for cooking, his Christmas this year was almost all kitchen, including that set of itsy bitsy measuring spoons and his own chef's knife and paring knife. The thing I never have enough of is bowls. I have a huge stainless steel one that can hold enough rye bread dough for 6 loaves. It is dented and looks like it's gone through the wars, but it still works. King Arthur has a neat silicone bowl that pours which I'd love to have. Lessee, more pastry brushes, chocolate molds, another set of liquid measuring cups and dry cups... Then there is my dream of a kitchen separate from the house that I can create in without assistance from the felines. jeanne in GA tonight's dinner: hoppin' john, collards and corn bread Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
I have a few measuring cups, I could use mre. I have the mini set of spoons. I always use my fingers for those measures, but my husband claimed he wanted to cook but could not because of the terms pinch and dash and " no exact measurement " ... Therefore, I got the set so he could measure those things and, of course, he has not gone near the kitchen since! , Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > Oh that's right, I have a bunch of measuring cups too. > > Do you have a set of the measuring spoons that measure > out a dash, pinch, etc? Guest guest
Ooo, like my dream house would have a summer kitchen in the back garden so I could have hot meals or homemade bread without heating the house, or brew when I don't want to steam up the kitchen windows. Though it is so cold in my kitchen right now that I only spend much time in there if I'm cooking enough to warm at least the area near the stove. -ginger just north of Boston - brrr! > Then there is my dream of a kitchen separate from the house that I > can create in without assistance from the felines.
