Thank you to the person who put this question up. I decided to try the

baked brown rice because I really don't like it in the rice cooker. It

never seemed to get quite done and is always burned more than I like

on the bottom. The baked brown rice is TOTAL enjoyment! I have had it

every day for the past 4 days and love being able to go to the fridge

and have it ready. I pull it out, throw whatever sounds good with it,

heat it up and eat.

I will be making this most every week. Its such a good for you fast

food! Thanks again -

Hi Sharon! That was me that posted that question, and I'm so glad to

have your input! I love the bakied brown rice, and while I did get a

rice cooker (a Belville for a really good deal on clearance), it's been

a work in progress trying to get it to come out as well as in the

oven. I'm getting pretty close, but boy making it in the oven takes all

the guesswork out of it. I've been having a bowl with some boiled

edamame and a little chopped spinach mixed in, a little salt and

pepper, a dab of butter or olive oil --- yummy!!!

Thanks for giving it a go and posting your results!!!! = } Deb in
