Guest guest
I have looked and looked for a veggie loaf recipe for my vegan son-in-law; but they all seem to have something he does not eat. I don't know how to make it hold together without eggs. Can someone help me out please? Zelda
Guest guest
Did you see the Meato's Loaf recipe that I sent you the other day? It is an unusal combination that is just delicious. I can't stay out of it. I think your family would really enjoy it. It is vegan. Judy - Zelda Friday, January 25, 2008 7:54 PM Veggie Loaf/Vegan? Guest guest
Substitute 2 tsp of ground flax seed mixed with 1 tablespoon of water for each egg. Let ground seeds sit in water until it becomes a bit slimy, like egg whites. Guest guest
If you use a product called " Gimme Lean " you won't have to use any egg at all. You just put everything else a meat loaf recipe would use, except the egg, and it will be a most successful hit! Lightlife foods makes Gimme Lean. Also makes awesome " meatballs " for spaghetti, burgers, and the like, and it is fat free! also comes in a sausage flavor. YUM! www.lightlife.com/product_detail.jsp?p=gimmeleansausage 360./naturekeene7 My Website! Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
