Guest guest
Go get a tube or make it fresh from a recipe in our files. I love to slice it, fry on both sides and add spaghetti sauce on top and olives. It's really endless, you will like it. I've also added egg plant, and I bet some fresh basil would also be great!

Guest guest
I love the tubes of polenta. They are so easy! I slice the polenta, throw it on a baking sheet in a 350 degree oven and heat it either soft, medium or crisp, depending upon my feeling of the day. I slice the polenta and fry it on top of the stove in a little olive oil. Again, hot and soft, medium or crispy depending upon what the rest of the meal contains. I put it in the bottom of a casserole under other ingredients and bake it. I either serve the hot polenta for breakfast with syrup or under stir fried or sauteed vegetables. I serve it with pasta sauce. I serve it with soups or stews. It is so versatile! Experiment, I am sure you will find ways that you love it. Guest guest
I don't like the store, tubed polenta, but I love homemade. I make cakes from it, serve it w/ maple syrup for breakfast, serve it like grits with garlic and earth balance. Yummo. Jeanne
Guest guest
I only tried the tubed polenta, once. I make my own ever since.. It is so quick and easy and a fraction of the price. It it is also a lot easier to work with as you can get it to the consistency you want it, so you can spread it or firm to fry. I make the sweet potato burritos and the mexican polenta along with spanish rice for dinner. I just have to wait for hubby to get home to find out how wonderful it all is. I can hardly wait. After the rave reviews of the burritos, I know we will like this. Bon Appitite. Katie jlgfellers <jlgfellers wrote: I don't like the store, tubed polenta, but I love homemade.
