Guest guest
It's nothing like tofu, it's made from cornmeal. I love to slice it, fry on both sides and add spaghetti sauce on top and olives. It's really endless, you will like it. Guest guest
We like Bob's Red Mill Organic Corn Grits, also known as Polenta. We get it at our local Whole Foods. I like to make it with a pinch of garlic granules and freshly ground black pepper. It's also very good topped with a sauce made from chopped green onions, red and yellow peppers, fresh garlic, and white wine. And the sauce could be easily adjusted with whatever you have on hand---zucchini, leftover eggplant, whatever. And since the polenta is corn, a mexican style sauce made with fresh salsa and black beans would be delicious, too. **************Start the year off right. Guest guest
I like it best with a thick mushroom sauce with a little red wine in it.
