Go get a tube or make it fresh from a recipe in our files. I love to slice it,

fry on both sides and add spaghetti sauce on top and olives. It's really

endless, you will like it.

Polenta

 

 

Hi, does anyone ever use Polenta? I see it at the store and debate on

buying it as I dont have a clue how to cook it..kind like tofu..lol.

We like Bob's Red Mill Organic Corn Grits, also known as Polenta. We get it

at our local Whole Foods. I like to make it with a pinch of garlic granules

and freshly ground black pepper. It's also very good topped with a sauce made

from chopped green onions, red and yellow peppers, fresh garlic, and white

wine. And the sauce could be easily adjusted with whatever you have on

hand---zucchini, leftover eggplant, whatever. And since the polenta is corn, a

mexican

style sauce made with fresh salsa and black beans would be delicious, too.

I like it best with a thick mushroom sauce with a little red wine in it.
