Guest guest
I have a recipe for chili that we all like but it calls for ground turkey. Since that is now out of the question, can I just leave it out? Last time I made it I used Tempeh, but I forgot to get it when I went to the store and want to make the chili. What difference would it make if I just left out the turkey altogether? Zelda
Guest guest
If you leave out the ground turkey use more beans. I use black, pinto, red beans and corn in my chili. Guest guest
I use Quorn mince (or, more usually, a supermarket's own brand as it's cheaper) in place of the meat. But if I don't have any of that in the freezer I've been known to just bung a load of chopped veggies in and no one's any the wiser. I have also made it at parties for big groups of friends and no one has actually noticed they are eating veggie! Chopped small sweet potato goes quite nicely in it, too. Guest guest
I do this also. I will add Soyrizo, or a chopped us Tofurky Italian sausages or extra beans and veggies. You can always adapt a chili recipe, can't you? Donna --- fi_curnow <fi_curnow wrote: > I use Quorn mince (or, more usually, a supermarket's > own brand as it's > cheaper) in place of the meat.
