Guest guest
I'm having a hard time replying to anthing anyone posted, is there a trick I need to know? Guest guest
Hi Kris If you answer online, click the 'reply' button at the top of the page, on the right hand side. Then click at the beginning of the text in the box (put your cursor there). Then begin to type. If you are answering offline, click on the 'reply' button, click your cursor where you want to type and off you go. Guest guest
You are doing just fine. It will almost always pull up the original post when you hit reply. This is so that we can see which post you are replying to. You can either type your message at the top or the bottom of the original post to reply and then hit enter a couple of times to add spaces to seperate it. Or you can just highlight the old post and hit delete to get rid of it. But if you do this, we may not be entirely sure of which post it is that you are replying to. Hope that helps! Guest guest
Hi, When you click on the reply button, you see I vertical line on the top left side. this is the cursor. If you start writing your reply, you will see your reply on the screen on the top and the cursor is moving to the right. The message you are replying to is underneath. You can go with the mouse even in the middle of the text and clicking the left mouse button you can start replying there. You can fine adjust the position of the coursor with the arrow keys (up, down, left, right) on the keyboard. This is practical when replying to long textes. In this case it is more practical to change the colour of your reply, clicking on the icon over the text, that is a T and a painter palet, then on one of the colours cases appearing. And remember: There are no bad questions! We all have started learning on the same level. Yannisvegrn4life <vegrn4life wrote: I'm sorry to sound goofy but how do you reply to someones post? When I hit the reply button it shows me the post that I'm replying to but does not give me a place to reply. I then deleted the original post and wrote my response and sent it. Is that right or does someone know a different way. Thanks for the help for the computer illiterate. Photos – NEW, now offering a quality print service from just 8p a photo. Guest guest
Thank you all, I hope this works. I had checked all weekend and nothing I was writing had posted, now all of them are there, I feel like the " Can you hear me now " guy on TV. Obviosly it just takes a little while for them to post. Guest guest
Hi Kris Sorry about that. New members are always on moderation (due to trouble we had a few years back). It's not often that all the moderators are away for a weekend, but it does happen occasionally. Jo , " vegrn4life " <vegrn4life wrote: > > Thank you all, I hope this works. Guest guest
Hi Kris~ I think I understand the problem now. All new members are moderated here. Most groups do this just to make sure that new members are not joining to spam. So this means that your messages need to be approved by a moderator before they are sent through to the group. As all of the moderators were out partying this weekend, your messages took a bit longer to get to us. Nikki , " vegrn4life " <vegrn4life wrote: > > Thank you all, I hope this works.
