I tried following the path to happiness, but the bridge was out.....

and, wouldn't you know it, the path to damnation and pain just happened to be

well paved and downhill.....

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, but At the end of the rainbow there's happiness,And to find it often I've tried,But my life is a race, just a wild goose chase,And my dreams have all been denied. Why have I always been a failure? What can the reason be?I wonder if the world's to blame,I wonder if it could be me. You dont recognise it? It was covered by Alice Cooper would you believe ( admittedly during his alcoholic phase) , but was done by Judy Garland/Frank Sinatra/ Perry Como et all.....I`m Always Chasing Rainbows, a favourite of mine. Some fellows look and find the sunshine,I always look and find the rain. Some fellows make a winning sometime,But I never even make a gain, believe me,I'm always chasing rainbows,Waiting to find a little bluebird in vain jo <jo.heartwork wrote: I like the ditty Peter - what is it???Jo - peter hurd Monday, April 10, 2006 6:24 PM Re: The Way to Happiness Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, but At the end of the rainbow there's happiness,And to find it often I've tried,But my life is a race, just a wild goose chase,And my dreams have all been denied. Why have I always been a failure? What can the reason be?I wonder if the world's to blame,I wonder if it could be me. I didn't recognise it, but I was never a fan of Frank Sinatra, or

Alice Cooper come to think of it, but I do like the words.

is that a secretly christian website, it seem like something

out the 1950's. what's the catch?

Happiness through teaching kids morals?

i guess that's ok. but I tell my kids to lie sometimes and that it is

a good idea to lie and a very smart thing to do sometimes, but

if it hurts someone to not do it.

I think they know the difference. it's dumb to say, you should never

lie.

I think happiness or contentness can be achieved in the worst of

circumstances. I am proof of this, as I was supposedly a

ghetto, nyc, poverty, bad schools, no father, etc.

and I was such a happy kid, I didn't even know that I wasn't supposed

to be.

Watch it - you'll be quoting from HHGTTG next!... " everybody was incredibly

happy.... it was eventually discovered that the reason for this was simply

that they had no word in their language for any alternative! "
