Linseed/Flax seed for birds

As long as they are natural linseeds they will be fine for both.

most wild bird seed mix you buy has linseed as part of its contents

and..yes..budgies will eat it as well

you can plant some too!

the funny thing is at the bottom of my birdfeeder,

some beautiful blue/violet flax flowers are growing,

as well as some sunflowers, and millet, and a corn plant!

 

these things I never planted the birds did!

I like the red flax even better

It's quite worthwhile planting some budgie seed, or wildbiurdfood. The

plants are lovely.
