Guest guest
to wake up in a new haus..after living the in same lil hovel fer 6 years.... Move most of my crap on saturday.... my friend's rock!! moved an entire haus load of stuff in 2 hours! loaded and unloaded in 2 hours! that was sooooooo great! just got fiddily bits left now.... and the cleaning...oh the cleaning.... of course now i have to find everything and..so far have managed to set off the burglary and smoke alarms in the new place, which brought the fire department(guess its good to know they come!) on the other paw...dang, but the new place is nice... everyone remarked on how much they luved it... its weird tho.... there's no street lights(because we are behind another house, and set back), so at night its REALLY dark..so not use to that... and...yesterday when i was taking a break from unpacking and moving furniture into some semblance of order, sat in the backyard and watched squirrels run along the back fence-line..there's hummingbirds all over...they haven't found my feeders yet tho lack of sounds at nite is sorta disturbing as well....soooooooooooooooo quiet...til 4:30am..when the birds all wake up...we've got a mockingbird who has decided our roof is his prime territory..and he's gotta let everyone know...and a woodpecker who likes the telephone pole out front........ and this morn, while using the bathroom, we have this little window there, and lookin out, i was struck by the thought of " where the hades am i??? " ......glancing out, all i can see are trees, and green backyards, and flowering bushes, and all that...it soooooooooooooooooo doesn't look like oakland!!! and yet, literally two blocks away, its the middle of the hood...... there's a storefront about 4 blocks down that had all its windows smashed in saturday nite...there's a gas station down the street where there's a hold up or stabbing every week.... all so weird... fraggle You can bomb the world to pieces You can't bomb it into peace

Guest guest
that house is so cool. I am so glad for you sounds like you have twirl of nature going on. I love love love dark nights and dark houses. I believe that darkness brings out the primitive in us allows us to sleep awake, and our other senses to speak. to listen to the clearness of your dreams to feel our fear bravely to let the moon do its duty when there is no light that shines on your face, you needn't a mask, it is just you. no body just your soul. also, stay away from those bad streets :} , fraggle <EBbrewpunx wrote: > > to wake up in a new haus..after living the in same lil hovel fer 6 years.... > Move most of my crap on saturday.... > my friend's rock!! moved an entire haus load of stuff in 2 hours! > > there's no street lights(because we are behind another house, and set back), so at night its REALLY dark..so not use to that... Guest guest
Fraggle I'm glad your move went well. It sounds good. We are in the dark at night - no lights anywhere around.
